Welcome to JKRose Beauty. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking system, retail shop, and SMS/text messaging program (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, booking an appointment, or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to book services, place orders, or opt in to text messaging. By using the Services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.

2. Appointments & Booking

• Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system. Available times are subject to change and confirmation.
• You agree to provide accurate contact and service details and to inform us of allergies, sensitivities, or special requests at the time of booking.
• Arrival: please arrive on time. Late arrivals may shorten your service or require rescheduling at the artist's discretion.

3. Payments, Deposits & Cancellations

• Deposits: Certain services require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied to your final service total.
• Balance: The remaining balance is due at or before the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Cancellation / Reschedule: Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the deposit and/or be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Refunds: Service fees are generally non-refundable once the service has been performed. Retail product returns are handled on a case-by-case basis for unopened, unused items within 14 days of purchase.
• Payment processing: Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Square). We do not store full card numbers.

Transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, password resets) are sent to all clients as part of providing the Services. Promotional emails are sent only to clients who have opted in, and every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link.

6. Health, Allergies & Service Liability

• You are responsible for disclosing any allergies, skin conditions, scalp conditions, or sensitivities prior to service. JKRose Beauty is not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.
• Results may vary based on hair type, skin type, lighting, and event conditions.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for safety, health, or conduct reasons.

7. Photography

Photos taken during your service may be used for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to or at the time of the appointment.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the JKRose Beauty website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of JKRose Beautyand may not be reproduced, copied, or redistributed without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JKRose Beautyshall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
