JKRose Beauty (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our website, booking system, and SMS/text messaging program. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Contact details: name, email address, mobile phone number, and (optional) mailing address provided when you book an appointment, create an account, place a retail order, or contact us.
- Appointment & service details: services selected, date and time, location, special requests, and notes you provide.
- Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider (Square). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- SMS opt-in records: the phone number you provide, the consent checkbox you selected, the date/time of consent, and the page where consent was given.
- Site usage: standard log data (browser type, device, pages visited) used to operate and improve the site.
SMS / Text Messaging Program
By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box during booking or account creation, you agree to receive text messages from JKRose Beauty related to your appointments and (if opted in) occasional promotional offers.
- Message types: appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, balance receipts, birthday offers, and promotional messages.
- Message frequency: varies based on your activity — typically 2–6 messages per month.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Carrier charges are your responsibility.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.

- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase or of booking any service.
Mobile Information Sharing
No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), is permitted strictly to operate and deliver the messages you have requested. All other categories of personal information are governed by the sharing rules below.
Voice Calls & Branded Calling
When you provide your mobile or landline number while booking an appointment, creating an account, requesting a quote, or contacting us, you agree that JKRose Beauty may place outbound calls to that number for service-related and (where applicable) promotional purposes. Calls may display a branded caller ID (business name and/or logo) through our voice provider, Twilio.
- Purpose of calls (use case: mixed): appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling and cancellation coordination, event/wedding logistics coordination, balance and deposit follow-up, post-service follow-up, and occasional promotional outreach to clients who have opted in.
- Consent basis: calls are placed only to individuals who have an existing or prospective business relationship with JKRose Beauty — namely clients who have booked or inquired about a service, submitted a contact form, or otherwise provided their phone number to us.
- Call frequency: typically fewer than 5 calls per day across all clients; an individual client generally receives 1–3 calls per booked event.
- Calling hours: calls are placed during reasonable local business hours and never before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in the recipient's time zone, in accordance with the TCPA and applicable state law.
- Opt-out: you may ask to be removed from our call list at any time by telling us during a call, replying STOP to any text message, or emailing us at the address below. Removal requests are honored promptly.
- Recording: calls are not recorded unless we obtain your express consent at the start of the call.
- Cost: standard carrier voice and data rates may apply to incoming calls; carrier charges are your responsibility.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase or of booking any service.
Phone Number Sharing (Voice)
No phone numbers, call records, or call-consent data collected for the purpose of voice calling will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors that directly support voice calling (specifically our voice provider, Twilio) is permitted strictly to place and deliver the calls described above.
How We Use Your Information
- To schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments.
- To process payments, deposits, balances, and retail orders.
- To send appointment reminders, receipts, and service follow-ups.
- To place appointment-related and event-coordination phone calls, including branded caller-ID calls via Twilio.
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- To send promotional offers and birthday messages — only if you have explicitly opted in.
- To improve our services, website, and customer experience.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the limited categories of service providers needed to run our business:
- Payment processor — Square to securely process card transactions.
- SMS provider — Twilio to deliver text messages you have consented to receive.
- Voice / branded-calling provider — Twilio to place outbound business calls with branded caller ID.
- Email provider — Resend / SendGrid to deliver transactional and (with opt-in) promotional emails.
- Hosting & analytics — Base44 platform services that host the website and store appointment data.
- Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
Email Communications
Transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, password resets) are sent to all clients as part of providing the service. Promotional emails are sent only to clients who have opted in, and every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link.
Data Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide services, and as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
Your Choices & Rights
- SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message.
- Voice / call opt-out: Ask to be removed during any call, or email us at the address below. We will add your number to our internal do-not-call list promptly.
- Email opt-out: Click the unsubscribe link in any promotional email.
- Access / correction / deletion: Contact us at the email below to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- State privacy rights: Residents of certain states (including California and Virginia) may have additional rights regarding their personal information. Contact us to exercise them.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
